The Centaur Garden
Le Jardin du Centaure (herbalism and botanical discoveries) à 500m from the gîte grows and harvests organically-farmed aromatic and medicinal plants. In a hectare of unspoilt gardens and surrounding moorland, the plants are harvested and sorted by hand to create herbal teas, aromatics, herbal salts and sugars, vinegars, mustards and other natural preparations.
In addition to its business herbalism, the Jardin du Centaure offers a a rich programme of events for all those curious about nature: botany courses, guided tours of the garden, discovering plants and their uses, botanical walks and field trips, lectures, open days, etc. Every summer, discover the not-to-be-missed event on witches' plants, combining legends, astonishing stories and the exploration of toxic species.
